What a week it’s been. Wallet updates, new pools, new applications, new videos, a new marketplace and more. Here’s a quick overview!
1. We found very capable devs a few weeks ago and have completed two wallet updates. Coincontrol, heartbleed fix and a block reward decrease to 15 were all added this week (the block reward changes on block 240K, estimated for this Sunday). Next up? A fix to leveldb and an overall update to make the wallet more user-friendly (and faster!). This update will also include a more streamlined upgrade process.
2. Following up Michael and Jakoblight’s successful appearance at the Bitcoin conference in Sweden, Michael has been invited to attend another convention in Slovenia this fall.
3. Our buddy Thiago has built a new pool for UltraCoin, with all fees dedicated towards a DEV fund for conventions and other expenses. UltraCoin Pool
4. Hashfever has built a multipool for UltraCoin and testing is underway. UTC Multipool
5. Talks are ongoing with a payment processor for UltraCoin and continue to look very positive.
6. We are starting to build a conceptual model of our Minecraft economy plugin. Tentative schedule for a pilot server is mid-summer.

8. Our first marketplace has been built: https://souk.io/. This is a peer-to-peer market where users can list items and sell to other users. We are VERY excited about this! (especially me. you all know how much girls love to go shopping)

10. And finally, our awesome video producer jakoblight has created another video for UTC. Not only is this a great depiction of UTC in the real world, but it will also be accompanying my next article in BitcoinWoman Magazine.
