The crypto world is such a strange place. There are so many coins, so many exchanges, so many hopes and so many dreams. Today one coin will be hot and everyone will buy it. The price will soar. Tomorrow, another will take its place. There will be winners and losers made every day. Its so hard for an investor to know the best coin to invest in. When I buy crypto, I try to look at what long-term value a coin has. What plans does its executive team have? What innovations does it have? Why would this particular coin be the one real people want to use in real-world situations?
At Ultracoin, we think about these questions every day. We believe we have a winning formula for a coin that will stand the test of time and will reward its investors. So we have a very ambitious schedule to develop applications and partnerships that will demonstrate to the world why Ultracoin is superior to other coins and WILL stand the test of time.
The real question, though, is – are we prepared as a team to deliver? We have extremely talented people on our team. They all bring top-notch skills and experience and a strong level of commitment. How can we best ensure that those talents are maximized – and how can we ensure that we are giving true value to our investors?
Led by our founder, Michael (aka Bumface), the Ultracoin team has evaluated our organizational structure, and implemented a Board of Directors structure that we believe will best serve all of us. The text of Michael’s announcement is included below. This structure gives each director the authority and autonomy needed to work effectively, yet also provides overall guidance and control through the Board.
Look for much more detail about how we plan to communicate with the community in the near future, and discussion about our future plans. And note the wonderful addition of a Community Leader to our team.

ANNOUNCEMENT: ULTRACOIN EXECUTIVE TEAM HAS BEEN REORGANIZED
Ultracoin is now almost four months old. In that time, our community has grown, we’ve made a lot of strides and we’ve learned a lot. To ensure that we, as the leadership team for UTC, are prepared to continue our growth and meet the aggressive and lofty goals we have set, we have reorganized the leadership team.
Ultracoin is now governed by a Board of Directors, a Board that will guide our efforts and ensure that we are using resources most effectively, and delivering the maximum value to our community and stakeholders. This Board is made up of the following positions and people:
1. Founder and Director of Planning – Michael
2. Director of Systems and Coin Development – John
3. Treasurer, with audit responsibility for all community wallets – Jakob
4. Team Manager and Director of Artistic Vision and Branding – Jakob
5. Director of Application Development – DCGirl
6. Director of PR and Marketing – TBD
7. Director of Strategic Partnerships – Paulgr
We are also pleased to welcome a new member to our team – UltraSmart, who has generously volunteered to serve as Community Leader.
We will continue to provide details – especially related to communications, as communicating as effectively as possible is critical to our success – as we firm things up.
